Having left the label they founded together, Get Physical Records, German house duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier almost split up during the first half of production for the record.

"We're very happy and proud of the fact that we have this trademark sound and finding new ways of telling the story took a long time, it was also very stressful for us," Kammermeier told Dig Music.

The pair named the record after the studio that helped them regroup, the vintage Eve studios in Manchester UK.

"In the old days we used to work with laptops on the way when we toured and we wanted to change this, so we went to a studio in Manchester. The time there was so productive and inspiring that we wanted to talk more about it when we talked about the album," Arno said, "so it came quite naturally that we wanted to name the album after the studio."

Eve includes appearances from guests Fritz Helder (Azari & III), Fritz Kalkbrenner and Andy Cato (Groove Armada).

Booka Shade were in Australia some weeks ago for few DJ shows and Kammermeier revealed they're currently working out dates for an Australian tour of the album in 2014.

"We definitely want to bring back the live show to Australia next year. We're looking at dates at the moment, it's such a great market for us," he said, "they are always great shows and I just love to be there, so we definitely have to make it possible."
