Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy produced two tracks on the album, including Pretty Green (below).

For the first time, and at Tweedy's insistence, the band recorded live in the studio.

Second guitarist in the band Austin Jenkins told Dig Music it was refreshing to come back to the basics of making music.

"Getting to record this in the studio with Jeff Tweedy really showed us that you can work a lot with very little - to just play as a group together."

Jenkins joined frontman James Petralli on guitar three years ago. Both provide some quick fingered solos throughout the record, one of which you can hear in standout track At Night In Dreams (above).

"I was trying to picture what it would be like if some of the members from Thin Lizzy played in a group with Walter Becker from Steely Dan and then you stole some of the parts from Toto's Rosanna for a bridge," Austin said about arranging the song.

Hear the album in full on Monday at 10am and Sunday at 9am.
